There has been a rise in the nations on the issue of education with most of the nations globally making strides in attempting to increase access to education for all their citizens at all levels. This consequently saw an improvement from a measly 83.2% in 1990 to a much more impressive 91.4% in 2016 between the age 15-24 [1] . This also acts as an indication of the fact that there is a rise in the equality witnessed in the domain of education, both domestically as well as internationally. End of global poverty in sight?

SDG 1: End Poverty in all its forms everywhere "Extreme poverty anywhere is a threat to human security everywhere." - Kofi Annan. Above quote aptly sums up the importance of removing poverty. With this primary motive in mind, "No poverty" has been chosen as the first goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the United Nations. SDGs are set of goals defined by United nations general assembly, to be fulfilled by the year 2030. It contains 17 global goals and 169 targets. Goal 1 is set as "End poverty in all its forms everywhere". It has seven targets defined, which include, to end extreme poverty in men, women and children through social protection systems, give them equal rights in economic resources, reduce vulnerability to climate-related extreme events, mobilize resources for least developed countries etc [1] . According to the recently released Kantar IMRB ICUBE report, the number of internet users in the country will increase to 627million from the current 566 million, i.e., an increase of 11% YoY. This points to the increasing adoption of the internet in the country. One of the significant areas of focus of the current government has been to transition India to a digital economy. This has been evident from policies like the JAM trinity to the push for digital transactions to implementation of the GST reform.
